Introducing Makermint - Generative Games using Phaser engine

We are a small team of game devs who love building 2D games and earlier this year we started the development of a Generative games platform called Makermint, which basically lets you, “the makers”, create & test your ideas quickly. Our mission is to make game development accessible to anyone who has lots of game ideas and wants to develop small prototypes quickly but is constrained by coding/art/budget etc.

The platform offers a prompt-to-game creation interface with complete workflow of game design, art & animations, (rudimentary) audio, leaderboard, and hosting; meaning, you get a shareable game link that is ready to ship & share with your community.

We are looking for makers as well as testers who can give us feedback on our current state of the product and help us improve it. Looking forward to meeting you on our Discord channel!

Makermint

Someone else posted a similar project recently, and Phaser itself has a thing called Phaser AE. Is your product more like Phaser AE where it’s a proprietary framework and the code lives on your server? It sounds like it.

Phaser AE is definitely in the same swimlane as Makermint but we are giving it all to be the best 2D and 2.5D playable experiences creator using natural language. Our workflows do handle sprite gen, anims, fonts, game design, leaderboards, hosting, code-gen, ads etc. The code atm does live on our server but something we are looking to make available in a membership tier in the near future. Still early days and hoping to enable anyone have access to creating playable & shareable experiences.
