I’m starting a benefit corporation in the Austin area that raises money for non-profits by:

1. Creating mini-games alongside children who need some more fun and magic in their lives (childrens hospitals, after school programs, etc), using their drawings and other kid-created media for our game assets
2. Releasing the games on our (Online ‘Mario Party’-esque) platform
3. Funneling revenue from microtransactions back to the non-profit organizations we partner with

I hope to connect people through the childlike wonder we all remember fondly, and use it to make the world a better place.

Currently, I’m focused on using open source web technologies to accomplish our goals. Phaser 3 is being used for the games, Vue.js for the platform that wraps the games, and Node.js for our servers.
