Just a quick question about the “Restricted use that requires a trademark licence” section in the Trademark and Logo Policy.
Any commercial use, including but not limited to books, training courses and events.
Do I understand it correctly that I need a “trademark licence” if I want to sell a Phaser Video Course or if I want to monetize a Phaser Tutorial on YouTube?
Use in a domain name or URL.
I need a “trademark licence” if I want to publish a website with the domain phaser-tutorials.com with the intention of selling video courses/tutorials?
And even if the word Phaser is anywhere in the URL (subdomain, path, query params) I need a license too?
In a title or metatag of a web page whose sole intention or result is to influence search engine rankings or result listings, rather than for discussion, development or advocacy of the Trademarks.
Of course title and metatags will have an impact on search engines. Does this mean I can’t use the word Phaser in any of those?
Can someone please clarify it?
