Tilemap in a smaller portion of the canvas

Hello there,
Let’s say I have my canvas of 1400x800.
I create a tilemap, but I want that its visible area occupies only 800x600 because in the other parts of the canvas I want to place the user interface (exactly what happens if I create the canvas of 800x600).
I thought it would have been easy to do this but I cannot find a solution or nobody with my problem so probably I’m missing some core concept.
Any help please?

You can use a second camera for this.
