After 3.5 years of development with Phaser I’ve finally finished my game. Beautiful Bricks!

Beautiful Bricks is much more than your average brick breaker. Its 4 players at once, has ball physics like pinball, more paddle control, boss battles, 40 + power ups, achievements and unlockables, 230+ levels and many more innovative features. All presented in an 8-bit aesthetic.

This was built using Phaser 2.6. I had to modify the Phaser code slightly.

Congrats on the game release!

I’ve just checked out the trailer and it looks really cool. I tried to play the game from your website (by clicking the ‘play’ button) and the game wouldn’t load. Here’s the error I’m getting…

That is strange - doesn’t seem to be loading Phaser. Works OK on my computer at home and work.

The error is the ERR_INCOMPLETE_CHUNKED_ENCODING.

I have read here that is might be to do with declaring too many variables.

Interesting bug - will look into it but i think its dependant on which computer is viewing the site.

This is a big game. the main game’s .js file is over a meg after its been minified.
